About the Functional Skills Support Programme

The Functional Skills Support Programme (FSSP) is designed to prepare practitioners, leaders and managers to deliver functional skills.

Support from FSSP is available free of charge to all schools and post-16 education and training centres, and counts towards continuing professional development (CPD). Support for schools is provided by National Strategies and support for the post-16 sector (as well as independent training organisations, the secure estate and adult and community settings) is offered by the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS).
