Are you ready to deliver functional skills?

The Readiness tool is a downloadable questionnaire cross-referenced to the Post-16 Common Inspection Framework. It helps providers to rate aspects of their planning/delivery of functional skills. Your self-assessment helps you develop an improvement plan and identify what further development/support is needed to roll-out functional skills successfully.

You can request a free half-day consultancy visit, during which we can help guide you in assessing your centre’s readiness and encourage the development of an improvement plan and relevant priorities within it. Where necessary free bespoke training can be provided to support the improvement plan and outcomes of your self-assessment.

Alternatively, the self-assessment can be conducted as part of a consultancy visit with a member of our team. Follow-up training and support can be then booked in the usual way.
